H.B. 430 - Local Government Transportation Services Amendments Seeking to improve public transit services in underserved high-growth areas, requires the Department of Transportation and Transportation Commission to use a certain amount of public transit funds to award “public transit innovation grants” to pilot bus routes, services, shuttle connections, and other pilot programs to demonstrate need for public transit services; also requires Utah Transit Authority to provide a report every two years to each city and town with an accounting of how transit revenues are raised and utilized to provide service to residents of their city.
