Requires that public school instructional materials and curriculum are consistent with “principles of individual freedom,” some of which are good but some of which ignore or prohibit discussions on systemic racism and unconscious bias. The bill specifically excluded gender identity from a list of characteristics that should not be subject to discrimination or adverse treatment.
